Get help finishing a message with autocomplete

Accepting a suggestion doesn't make the words permanent. Edit them. Keep half the sentence if that's the useful part. Delete the rest.

I want this to feel like help with your writing. If the suggestion is too formal, say it the way you'd actually say it. If it gets something wrong, fix it before sending. In particular, don't leave a claim like “I've been using your app” in there unless it's true.

The person receiving the message is going to read it as something you said. Give it a quick read yourself first.

If you need more than a few words

Sometimes there won't be a suggestion. You might have finished the thought, or there may not be enough to add. You can keep writing without one.

And sometimes the problem isn't the sentence. Maybe you've found someone interesting but don't know how to approach them yet. That's a better reason to ask △ Agent for a plan. You can talk through the approach before writing.

I know not everyone wants AI anywhere near their writing; I've written about that concern. Autocomplete is meant to help you say what you mean while leaving you in control of what you send.
