You can have two very different people problems: nobody comes to mind for the job, or somebody would be perfect but you've lost track of them.

ReacherX is being built to help you find and reach relevant people. YouSpot's personal CRM focuses on keeping the people you already know within reach.

## Where YouSpot overlaps

[YouSpot's current public page](https://connect.com/) describes a CRM for one person. It imports known people and companies, keeps their information current using connected mail, calendar, and LinkedIn, and answers questions in plain English. It also documents an MCP server that lets compatible AI tools work with a member's account.

That makes it a relevant comparison. ReacherX isn't the only product trying to make contact management simpler, and it isn't the only one that can involve an agent.

YouSpot's public product information is currently served on connect.com. Follow the current product links and confirm availability before relying on a particular integration.

## Start with a person you haven't met yet

Imagine you need researchers who have studied how older adults use mobile banking. A full address book might still contain nobody suitable.

In ReacherX, describe the audience and why you want to contact them. △ Agent looks across X/Twitter and LinkedIn, weighs possible matches against that description, and gathers details. Read those details before asking it to prepare an introduction.

You can keep this work in a research workspace, separate from finding a cofounder or a potential customer. Each workspace has its own people, criteria, plans, memories, and reporting.

Once someone replies, their profile gives you a place to continue the supported conversation and inspect the plan. You can update their stage to reflect what has actually happened. The [CRM guide](/blog/manage-people-with-reacherx) walks through that part.

## Start with someone you already know

If your immediate need is remembering the right person from past mail and meetings, put that task first in a YouSpot trial. Can you find them from the details you remember? Does the result point to enough context to follow up sensibly?

For ReacherX, test a different question: can it find someone new who meets a specific requirement and help you prepare a useful approach?

## Check what will stay in another app

ReacherX is still in beta: no email sending, calendar integrations, unified inbox, or MCP access yet, and its conversations are supported X/Twitter and LinkedIn chats inside profiles.

You can read and modify ReacherX's open-source code, but self-hosting still takes setup and paid services may be needed. Use the hosted app if you want to try the workflow without running the system yourself.
