# Create outreach plans for several people at once

Select a few people, tell ReacherX what you want to do, and get a separate plan for each. You can give everyone different instructions.

You've found five people you'd like to contact. You could ask ReacherX to plan your approach to each one, five times. Or you could select them together and ask once.

ReacherX can create a separate outreach plan for each person you tag in the chat. You can give the whole group the same goal and add different instructions for particular people.

Here's an example of how to use it.

## Select the people in the chat

Use the mention picker to tag people you've found in your workspace. Start with two or three so you can read through the results easily.

Say you found three people who might help with a workshop. Your request could look like this, using the people you've selected:

> Create a plan for each of these people. I want to invite them to our workshop. Ask Maya whether she'd like to give a short talk. Ask Tom if he'd share it with his community. For Lee, focus on joining the discussion as a guest.

You don't have to write three separate requests. Each person gets their own plan, with the instructions that belong to them.

## Read each plan before using it

Open the plans and check the messages. Did Maya get the speaking invitation? Does Tom's message explain why the workshop would interest his community?

Change anything that doesn't sound right. You might want a shorter opening, a different question, or [a video that explains the workshop](/blog/outreach-with-images-and-video).

With sending approvals on, review the proposed outreach before it runs. If you turned sending approvals off, messages that ReacherX can send on your connected accounts may go out without a second confirmation. Check the [workspace approval setting](/blog/what-reacherx-does-automatically#will-it-send-messages-without-asking-me) before creating a batch.

## If someone doesn't get a plan

Read the result for that person. They may have been archived, ruled out, or not yet checked as a suitable match. Other plans can finish even if one person needs attention.

Fix the issue and try again for that person instead of repeating the entire batch.

Once someone replies, [continue the conversation](/blog/manage-dm-conversations). You can change the remaining steps to reflect what they said. There's no need to stick with an old plan after the conversation has moved on.
